Our best value buy: a share of a whole beast, cut and packed for your freezer. Choose 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or a whole cow.

You get cuts from every part of the animal: osso bucco, gravy beef, round, topside, rump, scotch, New York, T-bone, blade, BBQ steak, chuck, diced, stroganoff, brisket, spare ribs, sausages, mince and bones.

The sausages are gluten free. No added hormones.

Primary cuts and roasts come vacuum packed and labelled. Sausages and bones come in plastic bags.

Freezer space: allow about 40 litres for a 1/8 share and 200 litres or more for a half.

Dressed weight

The price is per kilo of dressed weight, at $16.58/kg. Boxed weight is usually 30% to 40% less than dressed weight.

How much meat you take home depends on the size of the animal and how you want it cut. If you ask for every cut boned out, your boxed weight will be lower.
