From the shop, Glenmore Park is about 7 minutes by car, and Regentville about 7 minutes. Orchard Hills is about 12 minutes away and Mulgoa about 13 minutes.
Most of the trip is motorway. Leaving the shop, take the M4 to the Mulgoa Road exit, then follow Mulgoa Road and Glenmore Parkway into Glenmore Park.

Barbecues in the local parks
Penrith City Council lists a public barbecue at two Glenmore Park reserves. Torquay Terrace Reserve, at 5 Torquay Terrace, has one beside a picnic table, seating and a playground. Linear Park, on the corner of Bradley Street and Tallwood Avenue, pairs its barbecue and picnic table with a nature playground and slides.
Further out, Mulgoa Park on the corner of Mulgoa Road and Littlefields Road has an undercover area, toilets and a playground. The council does not list a barbecue there, so it suits food cooked before you leave home.
Barbecue lines
Start with the kebabs. Red Wine Beef Kebabs are in the Marinated Range. Lamb Kebabs are in Australian Lamb, and Chicken Kebabs are in Chicken.
For steak, Angus Beef has the Angus Yearling Rump Steak and the Angus T-Bone. For chops, the lamb section has Lamb Griller BBQ Chops. Ask at the counter about allergens, or what is in a marinade, before you buy.
Most of these have a recipe on the site. Try the BBQ chicken kebabs, the Greek-style lamb kebabs made with Lamb Kebabs, or the classic BBQ T-bone. Low and slow, then the grill
For a barbecue that runs all afternoon, begin with the Angus Beef Brisket 1kg. It needs six to eight hours over low heat and comes out about a third lighter, so one kilo serves three to four. The low and slow beef brisket recipe sets out the method.
The Pork Belly 1kg takes two and a half to three hours in a low oven, until it is cooked through and soft. Follow the crispy pork belly recipe for the timings.
At the quick end of the grill sit the Wagyu Beef Burger Patties, made in the shop at six to the kilo. Give them four to five minutes a side on a hot plate and turn them only once.

When the guest list grows for Christmas or New Year, the 5kg box of Wagyu patties keeps the grill busy for a crowd. Start a brisket early in the day so it has its full time on low before people arrive.
Collecting is the simple way: collection has no minimum. If delivery suits better, it runs every day except public holidays, which leaves out Christmas Day and Boxing Day. For a Thursday delivery, order by 12 noon on Tuesday.
