About this cut
A savoury, peppery snag, with the Worcestershire in the mix and the cracked pepper right through it. It is the one for a plain bread roll and onions, because the seasoning is already in the sausage. Made in the shop.
Moderate heat, on the barbecue, in the pan, under the grill or in the oven, and turn them often. Give them the full ten to twelve minutes so the middle is through. Sausages are done at 75°C right through. A minute off the heat before the bread.
Keeping: about two days in the fridge. Freeze it the day you buy it if you will not get to it; frozen, it is best inside two or three months.
Gluten free.
Best used for
Mash and gravy, BBQ, sausage rolls, hearty dinners.
